Very good fit in every morning routine that can replace a few less complex serums. Currently my fave ascorbic acid serum. It\u2019s also surprisingly stable – ascorbic acid solutions start out clear, and then oxidise turning yellow, orange and brown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A typical ascorbic acid serum will start oxidising within a month, and when it\u2019s orange you can be sure that a lot of the ascorbic acid has oxidised and is no longer usable. Some serums contain yellow colorants from the get go, which can make spotting oxidation harder, which is\u2026 a sly move, and some will include instructions to be kept in the fridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Dermomedica Phloretin C is clear (yay!), you don\u2019t have to keep it in the fridge (double yay!) and hasn\u2019t oxidised in the slightest during my 1,5 month use period, with my friends reporting seeing it stay clear well into the 2nd or 3rd month of use. (triple yay!). I think it\u2019s thanks to the self-stabilising antioxidant rich formula, which is very clever. I can feel that I got what I paid for and that\u2019s very important.
