Riemann P20 Sensitive SPF50+ and Sensitive Face SPF50+ are body and facial sunscreens that offer up to 10 hours of protection.
Actives (organic sunscreen actives):
- Sensitive: (Uvinul A Plus, Uvinul T150, Tinosorb S, Tinosorb A2B, Iscotrizinol)
- Sensitive Face: (Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb A2B, Tinosorb S, Uvinul T150)
On application:
Sensitive: a bit greasy lotion that requires a heavy-handed application for lasting protection – a pump per limb at least. About 40 seconds to rub in. It’s not the most cosmetically elegant sunscreen and it’s definitely quite heavy on the skin. Not too uncomfortable though!
Sensitive face: Same as Sensitive, a bit more lightweight though. Requires two pumps on the face+neck. Glowy, a bit greasy.
My thoughts:
I have tested these in Korea where the conditions were harsh (UV index 10, 90% humidity, 36 degree heat) and haven’t actually reapplied throughout the day. Came back with no tan. Yes, I used a UV umbrella and some sun protective accessories and clothes – but still, if it didn’t work I would have seen in on my skin. These join the EVY sunscreens in my heavy duty sunscreen rotation.
