Dr Irena Eris Cleanology – First cleanser with an easily emulsifying oil-in-gel formula.

On application:

It’s quite a thick gel, spreads easily, but feels a bit heavy on the skin. Grips makeup well. Emulsifies quickly and efficiently, doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue and doesn’t need a flannel. Very effective at makeup removal. Smells like… a synthetic green apple? Not a fan of the fragrance.

My thoughts:

Suitable for the first cleanse in the evening, can do a good job as a single cleanse if you’re not wearing much makeup. I like the fact that it’s effective and emulsifies easily, quickly producing a lot of milky lotion. I wish they changed the scent though!

For you, if: you like oil-in-gels and are looking for an effective first cleanse product.

Not for you, if: you prefer other textures of makeup removal products.
