On application:
Three separate serum formulas come out of the pump, and when you mix them on your hand they form a lightweight, creamy serum. It’s easily spreadable, texturally very elegant and smells faintly floral. Doesn’t pill in any scenario. Suitable for all skin types, oily skin types can use this as a serum moisturizer.
My thoughts:
This serum is one of my 2022 favourites. I’d happily use it as my main morning antioxidant serum because of its excellent hydration properties, versatility, a very nice ingredient profile that matches my skin concerns and the fact that it makes my skin look great. Especially great at blurring the appearance of pores, and has some instantly brightening/blurring pigments that are really effective without being visible or sparkling on the skin. Has a lot of instrumental tests that prove its efficacy in reducing the visibility of discolouration, fine lines, uneven skin texture and loss of firmness. It’s a real multitasker and I’ll come back to it for sure. It’s pricey, but you can frequently find it for a much lower price during sales/in Renergie gift sets Lancome offers.
I kind of dislike some of the marketing, especially the overhyping of the actives combo as never done before and impossible. It’s been done before and this is not needed, as the serum speaks for itself. Here it’s done exceptionally well, but… you know the drill. It’s marketing.
For you, if: you’re looking for a one-and-done elegant serum for multiple skin concerns.
Not for you, if: you don’t like creamy serums.
