Lancome Idole Nectar is a sweet rose sprinkled with popcorn & caramel.

Notes:

• Top – Turkish Rose, Rose, Grasse Rose
• Middle – Caramel, Popcorn
• Base – Vanilla

My thoughts:

It’s an interesting designer rose that goes a bit further with the current sweet gourmand trend – the caramel-popcorn-vanilla trio helps give its sweetness some depth. It’s not a super blind buy safe smell, but if you like sweet, jammy roses this might be for you. I think that layering it with tart, leathery fragrances can really bring out the rose & popcorn combo that makes it stand out – I do it often. Performance is good, it lasts for half a day and projects nicely.
