Mugler Aura EDP – sparks controversy, but I can’t get enough of it.

- Base – Bourbon vanilla, Woody notes, Amberwood, Sandalwood, Coumarin
My thoughts:
This is not an easy scent. I forbid you to blind buy it, this is something you must sample first. You need to have a certain level of confidence to pull it off. The ultra-green tart opening with a side of rhubarb can be a lot, but for green lovers like myself it’s pure bliss. If I described it as a woody, sticky and sweet vanilla you might cosider it banal, but it’s far from the truth. The greenness is the key to transforming it from generic to euphoric. I’d describe it as a green gourmand – it’s edible, but in an unusual way. Somebody said that this would be the fragrance that Poison Ivy would wear. I agree. If you like fragrances that are subversive and a bit harder to pull off – this might be for you. I absolutely love it, on my skin it leans woody. Performance is atomic.
