The Glycolic Knee&Elbow cream is another of my Ph.Doctor staples
Actives:
- glycolic acid
- panthenol & allantoin (soothing)
On application:
Fragrance-free cream. Good spreadability, fast absorption. I used to feel some tingling when introducing it, it’s a strong one! Thankfully my skin got used to it.
My thoughts:
I’ve been using it mainly on my dry knees & elbows, and sometimes on the backs of my arms (keratosis pilaris). The effects are noticeable – it has significantly reduced the appearance of my elbow&knee hyperpigmentation, and when I use self tan they don’t turn orange. My KP is also reduced, but if we’re talking about KP their lactic acid peel is better for that (I prefer leave-on products for my body, so I reach for the cream more). No notes.
For you, if: you’re looking for a smoothing body acid product, or a self-tan prep product.
Not for you, if: your skin is already smooth & you don’t need an acid product for your knees/elbows.
