The Eeny Meeny Cleansing Balm is a comfortable first cleanser.

On application:
A balm-to-gel that emulsifies quickly into a silky, milky lotion. Easy to rinse off without any residue, keeps the skin well conditioned. I find Eeny Meeny products to smell gourmand-y despite being fragrance free (they use extracts and plant oils, with no extra fragrance components), and this is like a dark chocolate mousse (cacao seed butter + vanilla fruit oil). I dislike the jar packaging, because the product is too runny for it. I wish it came in a pump (like for example Plantea’s gel-to-oil cleanser).
My thoughts:
It does a really good job with cleansing the face, taking makeup off and all the things we expect a first cleanser to do. It’s not oily after you rinse it off, which I appreciate. I don’t have an issue with the way it performs, just the packaging.
For you, if: you need an affordable, fuss-free first cleanser.
Not for you, if: you don’t like oil/wax based cleansing balms.
