SVR Anti-Ox is an interesting illuminating treatment mask.
Actives:
- 25% gentle vitamin C derivatives (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate + Ascorbyl Methylsilanol Pectinate)
- 4% PHA – Gluconolactone (gentle exfoliation, hydration)
- Niacinamide
On application:
A thick foam that spreads on the skin beautifully and dissolves into a weightless, invisible layer (don’t forget you have it on!). I use about a golf ball volume of the foam. Judging by SVR standards, the fragrance isn’t super noticeable. Apply for 15 minutes, and rinse off (which happens with ease).
My thoughts:
This mask is a decent option for giving the skin a little nudge when it needs it. It’s gently exfoliating, there’s no stinging or irritation, but it does visibly boost the skin’s luminosity. Decently cost effective – one bottle lasts for a good couple of uses. You don’t have to worry about the high vitamin C concentration, as the derivatives used here are very gentle. I’ve used it 1-2 times per week.
For you, if: you’re looking for a mask that will visibly boost skin’s luminosity without much irritation.
Not for you, if: you don’t need an exfoliating facial.
