Your Kaya Your Revival is a smoothing acid serum for the face & body
Actives:
- 10% acid blend – mandolin, shikimic, azelaic, gluconolacctone
- humectants – urea, fructose, maltose, trehalose
- soothing – centella stem cells, allantoin, sodium PCA
On application:
Watery serum/toner. Be careful, because the pump likes to spit, and the product drips through the fingers. It applies easily, absorbs quickly and you can apply moisturiser right away (it needs that). The longer you wait before moisturising the stronger it gets. Fragrance free. I’ve been using it 2-3 times per week.
My thoughts:
I’ve used it mostly on my body, because for the face I prefer either weaker leave-on exfoliants or stronger wash-off masks, but it should be great for the face. It delivers on its promise of smoother skin. Great at tackling body breakouts, PIE and KP. My previous body exfoliant was the glycolic Ph.Doctor cream, and YK helped me sustain the effects of that cream. I’d happily revisit Your Revival, and the refill packaging really helps with that.
For you, if: you’d like to have a separate exfoliant to smooth the skin.
Not for you, if: you need a cream and exfoliant in one product / don’t need smoother skin.
