On application:
Gel, pretty lightweight (but heavier than Lancome’s Génifique which is a similar product), fast-drying. Very spreadable, so it’s cost effective even if you’re heavy handed like me. Has a light scent that dissipates after application.
My thoughts:
I love it under retinal – quick dry down means that you don’t have to wait that long before applying retinoids in a sandwich method. It’s good at nourishing the skin, but isn’t moisturising – needs a cream afterwards for some moisture. It calms the skin and balances it. The 50 ml bottle lasts FOREVER. My skin loves ferment-based
For you, if: you’re looking for a night serum that will calm the skin down and offer long-term well-aging effects.
Not for you, if: you don’t need an additional serum in your nighttime routine.
