Many people have wrote me their opinions on the application process – they find it to be much easier, and that may depend on your skin undertone – warmer, olive-yellow toned skins can apply it noticeably longer before the white cast dissipates than the rosy-peach toned ones, which can impact user experience. Especially since it’s very comfortable after application.
My thoughts:
This is one of those products where application makes or breaks it – if you like a quick application, and your skin can often experience a white cast (especially with the Tinosorb M filter) you might find it a bit too tiring for everyday wear. If like me you have the patience to apply it over a few minutes – it will repay you with a dry-touch finish with a healthy, subtle glow and some soothing. Easy to reapply, I’ve worn a few layers with no problems. It also looks great under makeup and the fabulous Irena Eris tinted Face Zone sunscreen. I know people who swear by this sunscreen and I’m able to believe that with no doubts. Especially if your morning skincare routine is minimal.
For you, if: you like sunscreens with a soothing feel and a dry-touch, comfortable finish.
Not for you, if: your undertones are olive and you don’t feel like spending a few minutes applying sunscreen.
