Alfred Ritchy Lakeside is one of my favourite scents I own.
Notes:
- Top – blackberry, pineapple, bergamot
- Middle – rose, saffron, lily-of-the-valley, violet
- Base – vetiver, musk, sandalwood
My thoughts:
When I got these I wore them for 5 days straight, and that never happens. I won’t promise you you’ll love them, but if you were looking for something:
- fruity, but juicy and natural, ripe in the sun
- floral, but multifaceted, without powdery sweetness, with some green accents
- woody, but not heavy, preferably with warm vetiver
then look no further. Bergamot and musk are subtle and frame the composition very well. I haven’t received any feedback worse than ’very nice’, and I’ve made all my friends with diverse olfactory preferences sample this. I love it. This year it’s my signature scent. Lasts all day and projects well.
Do I know of anything similar? There is a few green/rose fragrances that can be described as such, but they don’t have that fruity opening that makes my day.
