Solverx Age Reset Face Cream is an affordable multitasking moisturiser.
Actives:
- peptide complex, hydrolysed wheat & soy proteins
- algae extracts, lecithin (antioxidants)
- ferments, prebiotics, panthenol (soothing)
On application:
Lightweight, gel-cream product. It’s pleasant and cooling on the skin, very spreadable and quick to dry down. I’ve been using it in the AM – it’s perfect under sunscreens. It’s not enough for my dry skin in the PM though. Gives a satin finish. Like the entire Age Reset line it’s heavily scented.
My thoughts:
The Age Reset line by Solverx has been a treat for me so far, and I’ve bough almost all the products. The drugstore doesn’t offer too many complex formulas that act as supporting cast to your main actives, and this fills that niche very well. Hydration, peptides, soothing – something for everybody. It’s pretty lightweight, so if you need something more nourishing try their night mask from the line. The oil base of the emulsion utilises rice bran and macadamia oils which I happen to really like texture wise. It’s easy to use with any active. Very cost effective, as one airless tube lasts forever, and it can be spotted pretty frequently on the drugstore promo shelf.
For you, if: you need a lightweight face cream that will support your actives of choice, and won’t cost too much money.
Not for you, if: you’re into more nourishing, heavier moisturisers.
