Solverx Rosacea cleansing gel is inexpensive and effective.
Actives:
- Panthenol, allantoin
- Lactobionic & azelaic acids
On application:
It smells of raw materials, which can be… mildly off putting, because this scent is intense, and there are no fragrant additives. It’s a classic, slippery gel that foams rubbed with water. It can cleanse very well, it can even remove makeup, but it can also be a bit drying with longer massage.
My thoughts:
It’s a simple product that can definitely be recommended – it costs about €5 on offer! The actives it contains can be a bit placebo-y here, but it does the job of a deep cleanser. It also lasts ages. I can see how it can be drying, but it’s not that a bit of nourishing skincare can’t deal with it. Forms a nice duo with the micellar cleansing cream by Solverx, and the brand seems like one of my emerging drugstore faves!
For you, if: you need an inexpensive cleanser that will cleanse your skin thoroughly.
Not for you, if: you like cleansers that feel nourishing and/or smell nice.
