It’s a gel-like, fragrance-free balm. Even a little bit is enough to cover the skin with a thin, satin veil of lightweight occlusion, which isn’t too overwhelming. It can be used as an eye balm, lip balm, final layer in your evening skincare, can be mixed with creams to make them more substantial… it’s delightfully versatile.
My thoughts:
If slugging with regular vaseline is too intense for you this is a fantastic alternative. I wish it was more accessible in the EU. It supports the skin barrier with occlusive moisture, and it can be a game changer for dry skin in the heating season, helping it retain that precious moisture. Actually regenerates and is easy to utilise in a multitude of ways. Lasts ages.
For you, if: your skin is prone to irritation, and/or dry, and/or no moisturiser is enough for you.
Not for you, if: you don’t like occlusive skincare.
