Eucerin Anti Pigment is an effective tone-evening serum for PIH.
Actives:
- thiamidol, licorice extract (tyrosinase inhibitors)
- vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate)
- hyaluronic acid, glycerin (hydration)
On application:
Slippery, gel-like serum. Contains alcohol – it makes it very spreadable and fast to absorb. One pump is enough per application, so the cost effectiveness is really there. The fragrance is faint. Doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, looks rather neutral on top of it.
My thoughts:
I have to preface with saying that I don’t really have hyperpigmentation, since I do a maintenance IPL treatment every 6 months or so, so that takes care of it. I’ve been using this for a month around the procedure (twice daily was my goal) to improve the effect on my skin. I think it worked, since very small patches of hyperpigmentation under my eyes reacted very well. The serum itself is user-friendly, I have no notes. Thiamidol is one of the most proven cosmetic ingredients regarding hyperpigmentation. This serum is often in my depigmenting skincare plans.
