On application:
The product is somewhere between a cream and a serum (the 0,05% Get Reti is a typical serum). It’s comfortable to apply, the product isn’t too tacky, and spreads well. Fragrance-free. The twist-up pump packaging is convenient and makes getting enough product out very easy.
My thoughts:
We finally have truly drugstore liposomal retinal serums, and it’s something to be happy about, because the accessibility market gap was huge. It’s exactly how a drugstore retinoid serum should be – user-friendly, balanced with soothing actives, and appropriately effective. I could use it on my dry skin with no extra moisturisers. Liposomal stabilisation (confirmed with tests on the finished formula) helps with time-releasing of the retinal, which is always welcome. I’ve been using it for 3 months, 5 days per week, with no irritation. I haven’t seen any worsening of my skin texture (there’s been some improvement after the Trinny retinal I’ve reviewed recently).
