Say Hi Sunrise Serum is a hydrating & antioxidant gel serum

- 5% vitamin C (ethylated derivative)
- multimolecular hyaluronic acid
- ferulic acid, asthaxanthin, botanical extracts (antioxidants)

On application:
Gel serum, quite thick for one. It gives the skin a nice glow after application, it’s visibly hydrating, there’s no heaviness or greasiness, there’s just a sticky feel that’s kind of usual with humectant serums. Unfortunately, I have two notes. Firstly, the serum is… kind of foaming/soaping upon application, which I don’t like, as it’s one of my pet peeves. The ferulic acid smell (hot dog water) is veeeery strong in this one. So it’s a mixed bag.
My thoughts:
The serum is pleasant, hydrating and glow-giving. It delivers on the promises. I liked using it over acids (P50) and it was a nice combo. If only the application process wasn’t so flawed!
For you, if: you like a multitasking, hydrating and lightweight antioxidant serum.
Not for you, if: you prefer emulsion/oil based serums and/or hate soaping.
