Theramid Ceramide Treatment is a barrier treatment with 3% of ceramides.
Actives:
- 3% ceramides (6 types)
- 1% ectoin
- 1% TECA (actives isolated from Centella asiatica)
- botanical extracts
On application:
Lightweight, fragrance-free lotion that doesn’t feel greasy on the skin. Layers well and is very easy to use. The packaging pictured is the old version, the new version is much better when it comes to getting almost the entirety of the product out.
My thoughts:
When you’ve tried as many ceramide barrier serums as I’ve had… it’s not very easy to differentiate them and point out their distinct features, especially since a LOT of them are very similar now and it takes a lot to stand out. This serum stands out with just how concentrated it is, a small amount is enough to make a difference. If you like to use a minimal amount of product and leave your skin feeling as bare as it can feel – this might be lovely for you, because it will still make a difference in your barrier.
For you, if: you’re looking for a possibly lightweight barrier serum that regenerates
Not for you, if: you’re looking for a thicker barrier care serum.
