Dr Irena Eris Sensi Science night cream is rich and soothing.
Actives:
- ceramides
- botanical extracts
- patented antioxidant complex – honokiol and magnolol
On application:
A buttery cream that leans rich. Smells of bubblegum – unusual for a soothing cream, but I kind of like it. I use it day and night, but less dry skins or those that prefer lightweight creams will have to use it at night only. It is a bit shiny.
My thoughts:
So far I’ve tested this cream and their day&night matte cream from the Sensi Science line. That cream is mattifying and lightweight, dry-touch, while this is a true lipid cream, not very greasy on the skin though. It’s definitely working to soothe and decrease the visibility of redness – that’s what the Sensi Science is designed to do.
Tip: combine this either in one routine or in a day/night split with the Ph.Doctor SPF for the best anti-redness synergy (they share magnolia-based redness relieving actives).
For you, if: you frequently have irritated skin/look for something that will decrease the visibility of irritation.
Not for you, if: you dislike heavier creams and/or more prominent fragrances.
