Dr Schrammek Blemish Balm is a soothing foundation that can be used even after treatments.
Actives:
- zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxides.
- panthenol, botanical extracts, allantoin, bisabolol (soothing)
- botanical oils
- beta-caroten
On application:
I mix the Light and Honey shades, 3:1. I apply it with my fingers. It isn’t a lightweight, fluid foundation – it’s more creamy, not as spreadable, but it’s pleasant. Gives a satin, healthy finish.
My thoughts:
It’s not very common to find makeup that’s usable after aesthetic treatments, when the skin is sensitised. This has been created for that purpose, it’s really soothing, and colour corrects redness very well. Iron oxides protect against HEV light. It’s a classic, and a 15 ml package should be in every treatment enthusiast’s arsenal.
For you, if: you need some soothing makeup for after cosmetic procedures.
Not for you, if: you prefer more modern, easy to apply foundations.
