Acnemy Zitbody is an effective, but not very cost effective acid body wash.
Actives:
- exfoliating acids – glycolic, mandelic, salicylic
- ceramides, cholesterol
- botanical extracts and stem cell cultures of plant origin, ferments
On application:
Low foaming gel, fragrance-free. First of all – a lack of a pump in a shower gel is always a bit of an inconvenience. Second of all – while a nice lather does not a good cleanser make, there is a bit of a psychological effect of undercleansing.
My thoughts:
I’ve been using it after the gym, and I liked how it worked to improve the smoothness and clarity of the body skin, it also works well as a self-tan prep. I do have a slight issue with the fact that the texture isn’t great and it’s empty before you know it. If the user experience was better I would have loved it. There’s room for improvement.
For you, if: you need an exfoliating body wash after the gym.
Not for you, if: you don’t need an exfoliating body wash.
