The Cerave Moisturising Cream is lightweight and fuss-free.
Actives:
- niacinamide
- ceramides+cholesterol
On application:
Lightweight, semi-gel like cream in a convenient tube. Easy to spread on the skin, fragrance-free. Somewhere between a serum and cream when it comes to weight.
My thoughts:
In the winter it was a bit too lightweight for me (I had my first tube in the winter), but in the spring/summer it’s really nice. It’s not a heavy, lipid-rich cream, more of a lotion. The MVE tech does bring a long-lasting nourishment despite the texture, and the skin’s moisture level is well taken care of (let’s not forget that the feeling of occlusion on the skin does not always translate to better nourishment. An easy and non-complicated product that can fit in a lot of routines and skincare contexts.
For you, if: you like lightweight moisturisers
Not for you, if: you prefer/need more lipid-rich creams.
