On application:
It’s somewhere between a serum and a cream, a lightweight moisturiser that can’t be easily classified as only one of those. It’s pretty much undetectable on the skin – not something you’d expect from a moisturiser, and it’s not fast absorbing like a serum. Has a gentle, earthy aroma.
My thoughts:
It isn’t the most or longest nourishing product I’ve had, but it doesn’t claim to be either. Has some lightweight emollients and humectants that soften the skin with too much occlusion which is nice in the summer and year round for people who like to keep it lightweight. It’s an emulsion, not a gel though – and it’s an important difference.
For you, if: you like lightweight lotion moisturisers.
Not for you, if: you prefer richer creams.
