Donginbi Daily Defense Capsule Ampoule is a well-aging serum based on 6 year old Korean ginseng.

On application:
Lightweight lotion serum, spreads very nicely – two pumps is enough for the face+neck. Lasts ages. It’s not on the greasy side, but it does give a subdued wet look characteristic for Korean serums. Smells of ginseng. I’ve used it in the AM and PM.
My thoughts:
A little tangent – Korean claims regarding concerns such as wrinkles are highly regulated, and require equipment measurements to substantiate them. That’s different from the European market, where survey studies (less objective) are enough to substantiate claims. Just putting it out there.
The serum is more preventative than corrective – it won’t iron wrinkles (despite having the claim of decreasing their visibility), it won’t get rid of pigmentation, won’t be transformative like retinoids. It will however take care of strengthening the skin, nourishing it and helping with oxidative stress due to its high ginseng content and synergic technology. It can be an alternative for those who can’t tolerate vitamin C, it’s pleasant to use and fits into any routine easily.
For you, if: you want a preventative serum for well-aging.
Not for you, if: you need a corrective serum for a skin concern.
