Saro de Rue x Gothamista essence is a well-aging serum in a toner.
Actives:
- black ginseng (root water, extract)
- 4% niacinamide
- sodium PCA
- botanical extracts
- potassium diglycyrrhizate
- ceramides
On application:
Typical for Korean essences thick, gel-adjacent toner texture. A few drops is enough for the entire face (and 100 ml will last forever). 2-3 layers when the skin is dry – perfect. Under a reusable face mask – perfect. Gives a glowy finish to the skin.
My thoughts:
I wouldn’t expect anything less than perfection from Gothamista’s Renee (who’s been my skincare inspiration forever!), and this does deliver. Elevated essence that supports skin well-aging in an elegant texture and with sophisticated ginseng extraction methods. Hydrates the skin well. Overall a joy to use.
For you, if: you’re looking for a lightweight, multitasking serum with a glowy finish.
Not for you, if: you don’t like a glowy finish.
