Skin Science Molecular Ironing Cream is a lightweight lotion moisturizer
Actives:
- niacinamide
- botanical extracts
- ferments
- gluconolactone (PHA acid)
On application:
It’s a serum/cream hybrid, the kind of product that seems to gain more and more traction recently (which I enjoy!). Half a pump is enough to cover the entire face and neck, so it lasts a good while. It has some golden glitter particles which aren’t very visible, but they are detectable – not very PM friendly in my opinion. The scent is pleasant, but it’s definitlely more than detectable.
My thoughts:
This is another Skin Science product that gives me a vibe of a usable-but-perfected basics to keep your skin happy. I like the premise, and I’ve seen it work as a skin stabiliser and regenerator. I found it nice as a day cream (wouldn’t use it as a night cream thanks to the glitter) that helps with keeping the skin looking fresh and less tired. I haven’t seen the ‚ironing’ effect that’s claimed here though.
For you, if: you like day creams with a really subtle hint of shimmer
Not for you, if: you don’t like shimmery moisturisers.
