Dermalogica Biolumin-C Gel Moisturizer is an intensely hydrating and illuminating gel.
Actives:
- hydroxyethyl urea, trehalose, sodium PCA
- vitamin c derivatives (aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphate, ascorbyl methylsilanol pectinate)
- allantoin, bisabolol (soothing)
- ergothioneine, beta-carotene (antioxidants)
- ferments, botanical extracts
On application:
Creamy gel, lightweight and a bit sticky after application. Melts on the skin to form a cooling, watery layer. Faint citrus scent. Suitable for AM and PM use (but there’s that hint of stickiness that may prevent you from using it in the morning if it’s not your thing). 2 pumps are enough for a single use, so the product has some longevity on the shelf.
My thoughts:
The BioluminC line is one of my go-tos for illuminating and nourishment. It’s lightweight, gives the skin that coveted glow without being too heavy – just a great all rounder!
For you, if: you enjoy pretty lightweight gel creams and are looking for something to inject the glow back into the skin.
Not for you, if: you don’t like fragrant products and/or are looking for something with more weight.
