Geek&Gorgeous Power Peptides is a very interesting peptide serum!
Actives:
- peptides, including an encapsulated copper peptide
- panthenol, allantoin
On application:
Lightweight lotion serum that feels weightless on the skin, doesn’t have any fragrance additives. Very nice as a layer between other skincare products. I’ve been using it as a second AM serum between my vitamin C and moisturizer. The twist-off cap is flimsy and not very secure.
My thoughts:
Since the copper peptide in this product is encapsulated – this finally solves the age old question of using copper peptides with retinoids, acids, vitamin C… (we don’t have any data that would suggest that we can’t combine these, but still some people want to be cautious). There’s also a couple interesting peptides here, and the entire formula just works and smoothes the skin nicely. I don’t really believe in peptides as a collagen building ingredient, but it does give some plumpness to the skin.
