Is Clinical Active Peel is a great way to exfoliate.
Actives:
- first pad – plant extracts with AHAs, salicylic acid, witch hazel
- second pad – botanical extracts, repair enzymes, ascorbic acid, sodium PCA, glutathione, copper tripeptide.
On application:
Rub your face with the first pad, 3 minutes’ waiting time, rub your face with the second pad. Easy. The first pad contains a lot of menthol, which isn’t my favourite thing. It can be irritating while not having much skin benefits. I didn’t find it irritating, but I found it annoying.
My thoughts:
These pads are really nice. They cost a pretty penny, but when you use them weekly – the pack will last you a few months. They can nicely flatten breakouts or congested skin. One of the better subtly resetting at-home treatments I’ve had. If only there weren’t so much menthol in the first step!
For you, if: your skin likes exfoliation
Not for you, if: you don’t like menthol. Really avoid.
