Cetaphil Pro Redness Control PM Cream is a nice, affordable moisturiser. Not really great for redness though.
Actives:
- caffeine
- ceramide
- dipotassium glycyrrhizate
- niacinamide
- panthenol
On application:
Medium weight cream with a pleasant, classic texture. Fragrance-free. Quick to absorb, doesn’t leave a layer on the skin (but oilier skins might still find it a bit thick), especially after a longer routine. I’ve used it in the PM mainly, but it’s alright during the day.
My thoughts:
Is it a product that actually decreases redness and will be a good product for rosacea? I’m not convinced, I didn’t experience any reduction in my redness near the nose. Is it a decent moisturiser with caffeine that can make PIE disappear quicker? Yes. It’s also nice over retinoids or acids. The Redness Control line is pretty nice.
For you, if: you like mid-weight creams that are easy to use with retinoids, acids or other actives.
Not for you, if: you’re looking for a redness-focused product.
