On application:
Bronze, golden-glittery gel-lotion. I don’t think the glitter is necessary here, especially since it’s a makeup REMOVING product, but it’s there. Didn’t bother me too much. It’s heavily scented. I like the product, and have used it mainly as a single evening cleanse. The brand says to use it twice for a double cleanse, but I found cleansing twice with it is too stripping, while cleansing once is just enough to wash off tinted sunscreen or light makeup. Cleansing once it is then.
My thoughts:
I like that we have more and more oil-free makeup removing products at our disposal. Will I revisit it? Not really, since I liked the similarly constructed, but more expensive Magic Water Cleanser by Charlotte Tilbury – it was more nourishing and didn’t strip me even after a double cleanse. It’s still a good, affordable product though!
